All registrations are in real time. When you submit the registration application you get immediate feedback if the registration was successful. The time it takes for the domain to be accessible over the internet is dependent on the registries. Most registries make new domains accessible within an hour, although some may take up to 12 hours.

In most cases, you must request an authentification code from your existing provider. In our control center you start the transfer process by entering the domain and the authemtification code. Once this is accepted by the registry, the domain is then transferred into your account. This process is usually completed in 1 to 5 working days.

There are two types of accounts, standard and reseller. A standard account is available to both private and business customers. A reseller account is only available to any legally registered business. A reseller can set up individual access for each of their customers, plus has access to our API for automated processing.

When you make DNS changes in the Control Center, they are immediately sent to the DNS Servers. Depending on whether the entry is new or an update impacts how long it will take before the new information is available everywhere in the internet. DNS entries are cached, and only updated when the cache is updated.

By default, domains are registered using the DomainVendor DNS servers allowing the DNS to be configured before the domain registration is submitted to the registry. After the registration the DNS configuration can me managed through the DomainVendor Control Center.
Resellers have the ability to use their own DNS servers. The Reseller is then responsible for the configuration of the domain DNS. | Must DomainVendor DNS servers be used? |
